John, can we have a quick heart to heart?

I turn 78 tomorrow – can you believe it, 78 years?! The party we're throwing is gonna be like Mardi Gras came early! And I want you to join the celebration by helping me raise $78,000 to save Nevada's Senate seat and our Democratic majority. 

Look, at (almost) 78, I've seen a lot of important moments in my lifetime, and this is one of the biggest – and most terrifying. Our country is at a crossroads unlike any other I can remember.

If we allow Mitch McConnell and his gang of MAGA extremists to retake the Senate, our democracy as we know it is GONE. They will pass a nationwide abortion ban. They will lay out the red carpet for Trump's return to Washington. And we'll return to a time dominated by lies, conspiracy theories and hate. 

I REFUSE to let that happen, John, so I'm doing everything in my power to help Sen. Cortez Masto defend Nevada's seat because I know this race is gonna determine Senate control. According to a brand-new poll by CBS, Catherine is losing by a point, and Mitch McConnell and his GOP allies are spending $55 MILLION attacking her.
