Brittany witnessed the devastating effects of the opioid epidemic firsthand starting at just 6-years-old, after her mom became addicted to prescription opioids, which ultimately led to heroin and fentanyl.

Brittany took her experience fighting to save her mom’s life in a decimated behavioral health system to increase access to treatment and recovery services so no family goes through what hers did. Now, her opponent is trying to blame her for the opioid overdoses in Colorado.
