John,
Late last week, the Arizona Secretary of State referred a case of voter intimidation to the Department of Justice where a group of right-wing conspiracy theorists were videotaping voters dropping off their ballots at a voter drop box.1
Since Donald Trump began promoting the Big Lie that the 2020 presidential election was stolen (it was not), 19 states have passed laws making it more difficult for millions of people to vote. These voter suppression laws are intentionally targeting low-income voters and voters of color.
We’re fighting back, ensuring every voter is able to make their voice heard. Between now and Election Day, we’re providing you with volunteer opportunities each week. Here are several Election Protection volunteer opportunities where we need your help now:
If you’re an attorney, click here to sign up to assist voters by phone or at the polls as potential voting issues arise.
LAWYER ELECTION PROTECTION
If you’re an everyday voter or activist, we have multiple Election Protection opportunities for you, too!
Sign up for an Election Protection Phonebank with our allies at Common Cause. The next training is tomorrow, Tuesday, October 25 from 4-6pm ET.

We’re also looking for Social Media Monitors to combat disinformation.
Click here to sign-up for a Social Media Monitoring session with our allies at NALEO (National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials) who are fighting by our side for access to health care, education, immigration rights, and voting rights.
SOCIAL MEDIA MONITOR
We’re working to ensure that low-income voters, communities of color, and people with disabilities have what they need to make their voices heard. And we have just two weeks left until Election Day!
If you’re not able to volunteer over the next two weeks, that’s OK. Please consider powering our efforts with a contribution today!
DONATE
Thank you for helping ensure massive voter turnout in this pivotal midterm election.
