Hey team, I just left an emergency campaign strategy meeting with my campaign manager Don – here are the toplines:

-Our “Toss-up” designation hasn’t changed – the race will continue tightening through the end of the month.

-Our opponent has raised a little over $1 million so far. National GOP & right-wing donors will spend big $ on his behalf before E-Day.

-TV ad prices doubled for the next two weeks, so we need to make up for the budget shortfall.

Folks, to be candid with you, I’m falling 32% behind my final end-of-month goal before Election Day, which could have devastating consequences. I need to compete with the GOP’s massive spending, keep our ads up, and make sure our budget is fully funded.
