Get to Know Your Experts! Brandon Kitagawa is the Senior Policy Associate for Regional Asthma Management and Prevention (RAMP), a project of the Public Health Institute. He leads RAMP’s state-level policy efforts to reduce exposure to environmental triggers of asthma in communities most impacted by the disease. Andrew Sutherland is the Urban Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Advisor for the Bay Area, serving Alameda, Contra Costa, San Francisco, San Mateo, and Santa Clara counties. As a member of the University of California’s Statewide IPM Program (UC IPM), Andrew focuses on developing, adapting, and implementing IPM strategies to assist pest control operators, pest management professionals, public agencies, schools, parks, public housing, and regulatory agencies involved with household, structural, and industrial IPM. |
