Republicans are keeping their most extreme campaign promises. It’s up to us to build a strong defense and keep them from putting any more points on the board.
Oklahoma’s Republican leadership is on the offense. All over the country, they are pushing through every dangerous and irresponsible campaign promise they have made. Our democratic elected officials have fought tooth and nail to hold the line and defend our working families from harmful bills in the state legislature. Our strong team helped defeat the school vouchers bill, which would have taken vital funds away from our public education institutions and given them to private schools. They could not have done it without assistance from supporters like you. We cannot allow Stitt to keep running up the score to benefit his benefactors. We need you off the bench and in the game! We would be throwing a “Hail Mary” if we said our goal is to take back the state legislature in one election cycle. In the meantime, we have to play smart and gain ground one yard at a time. We have the playbook to do it, but we need the equipment. We are stretching every dollar to continue to defend against the GOP leadership attacking everyday Oklahomans. With the necessary funding, we can help elect Democrats up and down the ballot, one seat at a time, from City Council to Governor.
