In Maryland, we introduced a first-in-the-nation initiative to help remove barriers to careers in infrastructure. The "Jobs That Build" Initiative will help Maryland keep pace with the demand for capital projects generated by federal and state investments. This $15 million investment will offer grants to workers to help them receive quality training in construction. It will also ensure that more capital projects are done on time and on budget.
