Hello,
Did you know our ads are on TV right now?
This month we launched our campaign ads to show Washingtonians my commitment to abortion rights and affordable healthcare. Election season is busy, but it is critical that voters understand my values and priorities for our district.
And if you live in Washington state, ballots are hitting mailboxes right now! Remember to keep an eye out and be sure to mail it back or drop it in a drop-box before Election Day.
Using our voice and exercising the right to vote is the best way to protect our Congressional majority, fight for abortion rights, protect healthcare access, and support our children and families. If we don’t want to see this crucial progress being halted, my Democratic colleagues and I need your vote. Every vote counts.
Not only that, we have also made important progress this month in securing resources for Washingtonians. This includes $250,000 for the New Snohomish Health District Telehealth and eHealth Record Program.
With this money, patients and staff will be able to eliminate up to 2,400 miles of travel by taking advantage of telehealth options. The program’s initial use will be for tuberculosis treatment, but the department will also be able to leverage this new technology for other programs such as maternal and child health.
I am also happy to announce that Washington state will receive over $1 billion to strengthen our roads and bridges. This funding comes from the historic Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill that will serve to cut commute times, lower car repair costs, reduce pollution, and support good-paying, union jobs for decades to come.
My priorities have always been to help Washingtonians in any way possible. From infrastructure to healthcare, I will always fight to bring essential resources to children, families, and communities.
Thank you for always standing with me.
