In Nevada, Arizona, Pennsylvania, and recently Georgia—Four of the country’s closest battleground states in the 2022 midterm elections—hospitality workers are leading large-scale canvassing operations to have one-on-one conversations with voters at their doors about the issues that matter to them most this cycle.

For months, hundreds of political canvassers—many of them hospitality workers from our Union—have been knocking doors in battleground states. UNITE HERE canvassers connect with people often not reached by traditional political campaigning by communicating shared experiences and struggles, and these personal connections at the doors propel thousands of infrequent voters to the polls to so that working people can have a real say in their future and our government. Thanks to your support, we’ve grown and expanded our canvassing program to Georgia.

With the support of allies like you, we’ve been able to grow our Georgia ground operation. A group of workers, largely food service employees from the Ft. Benning Army Base, is knocking the doors of low propensity African-American voters in and around the Muscogee County seat.
