Congressman Al Green Hosts Federal Agency Assistance Community Event

(Houston, TX) — On Monday, October 24, 2022, Congressman Al Green released the following statement:

“One of the many ways I am proud to serve the people of the Ninth Congressional District of Texas is by providing casework services. Congressional caseworkers assist constituents by facilitating communication between them and federal agencies to resolve an array of matters. The event I held today at Mancuso Neighborhood Library was an opportunity for constituents to interact directly with caseworkers, inquire about federal agency assistance, and receive help with federal issues. Some of the federal issues and agencies that were addressed at Mancuso included student loan debt forgiveness, social security, Medicare, passports, immigration, veterans, military academy, Internal Revenue Service, Small Business Administration, and U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The time we spent today with residents of the Ninth Congressional District was invaluable because no issue is too big or too small. The most important thing is that people know what resources are available to them and that they can count on my office to assist.”
