Thanks to the grassroots donations of Six PAC supporters, we are proud to support these public education champions for their local school boards! These candidates VALUE public education and recognize the importance of education for our students, communities, and future.
We’ve raised over $20,000 this year thanks to grassroots supporters like you! Your contributions will continue our efforts to fight for public education.
Thanks to the generous support of donors like you, we’re able to support School Board candidates in multiple states like …
LILLIAN ACKER (Fountain Hills School Board, AZ) - Lillian is the only Democrat in a field of six candidates. She is a retired teacher and understands the importance of a quality education for all students. Her commitment to community is reflected in her teaching, volunteering, and lifelong advocacy of education.
MICHELLE RICHARDSON BAILEY (Pasadena Unified School District, CA) - Michelle is the current Vice-President of the board, and she is running for re-election. She has over 20 years working in public schools, and she is an advocate for underrepresented students and families. If re-elected, she would like to bring vocational education options back to schools, and she will continue to promote equity and inclusion as well.
JAMES SILVER (Napa Valley Unified School District, CA) - In a district that has suffered a mass exodus of families due to school closings and declining achievement benchmarks, James understands the importance of investing in public education. His opponent and many in the community have enrolled in private schools. Rather than being a rubber stamp, James will look for solutions so that the district can again flourish.
CAROL TEMPLE (Charleston County School District, SC) - Carol is one of thirty candidates running for a board seat, and the field is awash in radical dark money. She is a retired principal with extensive experience in public education, and she believes that investing in teachers leads to academic excellence. Carol says every child matters, every classroom matters.
These candidates are but four of the two dozen we have been able to support, thanks to contributions from public education defenders like you! Thank you!
Will you help us save America’s schools? Grassroots support from progressives like you will beat toxic dark money in the end.
Children aren’t just our future, they are our present.
