This is actor, activist, and MoveOn member Mark Ruffalo. I vote because we
need elected officials who will create policies that protect the rights of
ALL Americans, not just some.

I got involved in climate organizing fighting fracking near my home in New
York state. After learning about how badly industrial fracking can
contaminate groundwater, I knew I had to do something. And it all took off
from there.

[ [link removed] ]This election, I’m voting and getting everyone I know to vote in order
to ensure we have Democratic leaders in office who will keep fighting for
climate action, gun control, the rights of LGBTQ+ families, and much more.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, October 25 at 6 p.m. ET MoveOn members will be
phonebanking to mobilize key voters to the polls and to get others in
their networks to vote. You can make these calls from your own home. Will
you join this phone bank? (And if you can't join on Tuesday, you can still
phonebank on any Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Saturday between now and
Election Day.)

Making a plan to vote is key to successfully casting a ballot, and you can
be the person who helps others ensure their voices are heard this
election. It’s time to talk about voting and about what’s at stake. With
Democrats in power, we’ve won action on student debt cancellation, price
caps on insulin for many Americans, lower Rx prices, greater tax fairness,
and investments to combat climate change. We can’t risk threatening these
gains by letting MAGA election deniers take public office nationwide.

Every week, MoveOn members across the country gather to make calls to
voters in key battleground states. The conversations you will have are
friendly and inspiring. We are talking to voters who share our values, who
believe in combating climate change and protecting our democracy—they just
need that extra reminder to cast their ballots. You can make the
difference in this upcoming election.
