Friends,
The Establishment operates at a full-time capacity - 365 days a year. Same with the woke bureaucrats and the agencies they run. Same with the lobbyists and the corporations that fund them.
But part-time lawmakers usually head back home after their legislative session is over, leaving the Establishment to control the agenda for months and months on end.
The State Freedom Caucus Network puts a stop to that. We help part-time lawmakers become a full-time counterforce to the Establishment. Even when they are out of session, state freedom caucuses are pushing back against the Radical Left and the GOP Establishment that often enables them.
Here are just some of the things the state freedom caucuses have been doing lately:
The Illinois Freedom Caucus is demanding that Chicago’s Lurie Children’s Hospital stop providing transgender services to innocent children. Thanks to the ILFC’s efforts, the issue is becoming a wedge of contention in the governor’s race. From a local press story ([link removed]) : “Gov. J.B. Pritzker and GOP nominee Darren Bailey were asked about gender-affirming care for Illinois youth as the November election nears…The Illinois Freedom Caucus, which consists of state lawmakers who support Bailey, said it will introduce legislation "to ban chemical castrations and gender surgeries for minors in Illinois." Until that is approved, the group called on the Ann and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago "to cease providing these services to minors."
The South Carolina Freedom Caucus is trying to end abortion completely in their state. But “Republican” members of the state senate are trying to expand abortion beyond what’s in current law! In a recent letter ([link removed]) , the South Carolina Freedom Caucus wrote, “Despite years of signing pro-life pledges, accepting endorsements from our state’s leading pro-life groups, and campaigning on pro-life platforms, a number of “Republican” senators sided with radical Democrats with one mission today – to insist on a period of time that abortion-on-demand remains as a form of birth control in South Carolina.”
Arizona Freedom Caucus Chairman Jake Hoffman recently wrote an op-ed titled, 2 Million Illegals & Counting: Democrats’ Weapon To Destroy America ([link removed]) . Excerpt: "The Democrats haven’t merely left our southern border vulnerable, their policies have incentivized more than two million illegal aliens to invade the United States since Biden took office. Border towns are being overrun, prisons are filling to capacity, and hardworking Americans are being hurt, yet President Biden had the audacity to claim the “border is closed” on 60 Minutes."
The South Dakota Freedom Caucus has long sought to repeal their state’s sales tax on groceries. Until recently, Governor Kristi Noem actively opposed that effort. Sensing vulnerability in her re-election effort, she recently came out in support of repealing the tax. Here’s an excerpt ([link removed]) from a local report: “A group of South Dakota lawmakers is happy about Gov. Kristi Noem’s campaign promise to cut the grocery food sales tax. The South Dakota Freedom Caucus, which calls itself “elected officials who believe in freedom and liberty for the people of South Dakota,” said it applauds Noem’s announcement. “It’s a pleasant surprise,” Freedom Caucus Chairman Rep. Aaron Aylward (R-Harrisburg) said in a news release. “We’re happy to see the Governor have a change of heart to help some of our less fortunate families and children that are the most adversely affected by this type of taxation sche
me.”

I was also recently on OAN’s “Nights with Chris Boyle” show to discuss ([link removed]) the State Freedom Caucus Network’s efforts to help create freedom caucuses in all 50 states. Please check it out.
Free to Offend! That’s the name of a podcast I recently joined to discuss ([link removed]) the State Freedom Caucus Network’s efforts. The podcast is hosted by our good friends at the Nevada Policy Research Institute. Here’s how they described the episode: “While everyone likes to pay most of their attention to national politics, it’s actually the local politics that usually matter the most for limiting the size and scope of government. There’s a reason so many people from over-regulated and high-tax states are flocking to low-tax western states — it’s because, regardless of what’s going on nationally, states like Nevada still have a culture that prioritizes individual freedom. And preserving that culture is going to require keeping our efforts focused where it matters the most: In our own state’s legislature. Andrew Roth, president of the State Freedom Caucus Network, joined the program to talk about his effort to keep that cul
ture of freedom alive in local politics throughout the nation.” Take a listen while you go for a walk or commute to work.
Thank you for your continued support.
Keep fighting,
Andy Roth
