In just a moment, I’m going to ask you to split a contribution of any amount between John Fetterman’s campaign for U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania and Kirsten Gillibrand. But first, I hope you will give me a chance to explain why your support is so important.
Right now, two votes in the Senate are blocking the agenda of the American people. From expanding voting rights, to strengthening our nation’s unions, to addressing the climate crisis, we have been blocked again and again from passing meaningful legislation that would address the long-neglected needs of working people in this country.
In a time where the ultra-rich are only growing richer, working people are falling further behind and are losing even more support from their elected representatives. It’s a status quo we can’t allow to continue.
That’s why I’m writing to you about Pennsylvania’s U.S. Senate race.
