Here we go again, team.

This weekend, the National Republican Congressional Committee announced plans to spend a last-minute $1.19 million on TV attack ads against us in the homestretch of this race.

As a reminder, this is in addition to the $1 million we're already facing from Kevin McCarthy's super PAC this month. In most congressional races, $2.19 million might cover the total budget of a candidate's campaign. In our race, it represents the Republicans’ outside spending on TV attacks in a single month.

Here's the truth: $2 million in last-minute TV attacks can absolutely swing a race as close as ours. It's happened before, and the Republicans wouldn't be doing this unless they knew it could work.

Eric has sworn off corporate PAC money, and we’re relying on grassroots donors to keep pace with the outside spending against us. Will you contribute $5 or more to help us plus-up our advertising program in these final two weeks?

It’s clear the GOP is getting desperate about their prospects in IL-17. Eric's campaign is surging, and local voters are seeing the dangers of a Republican-led House -- for reproductive rights, health care affordability, the future of Medicare and Social Security and our environment. 

With early voting underway, we cannot allow these last-ditch attacks to go unchecked. 

The good news is that the strength of this campaign has always come from tens of thousands of grassroots donors who are standing up to the GOP's attempts to buy this seat and take the House. We need you again, especially during key moments like these.
