John,
I've shown up every day in my career for people who don't have a voice — from women whose rights are being stripped away by anti-choice laws, to voters the state is trying to unfairly keep away from the ballot box, to people wrongly denied coverage by their health insurance companies.
Chris Carr, on the other hand, never shows up when it counts. His office refused to show up in court and prosecute some of the most violent crimes in Augusta. He didn't show up to help when we learned that an industrial facility was releasing carcinogens into my district and endangering the lives of my constituents.
At our debate last week, I called him out for his repeated failure to show up for the people of Georgia. Now, I need your help to make sure that voters show up over these next 15 days to defeat Carr and give Georgia the new leadership it sorely needs. Will you donate $10 right now to boost our outreach efforts?
Chris Carr has had 6 years to prove that he can show up for his constituents. But the only times he seems to act swiftly are when he's taking policy positions that he knows his corporate donors will reward, or when he's running to the courthouse to restrict Georgians’ rights.
6 years of Carr is long enough, John. If I'm your next Attorney General, I'll restore ethics and transparency to the office and make it clear that I'm the people's lawyer.
We have 15 more days to make sure Carr doesn't get 4 more years. Let's make them count. Please, chip in whatever you can →
Thank you,
Jen
Democratic State Senator Jen Jordan (pronounced Jer-Dun) has spent her legal career fighting for Georgians. Because of her real-life experience in the courtroom and out of it, Jen knows that now, more than ever, we need an Attorney General who will take a stand and fight for the rights of each and every Georgian.
