Dear John,

Join the Urgent Action Sister Funds on October 27th for the launch of ¿Cómo Enraizarnos En El Cuidado y Bailar La Revolución?, a new report highlighting collective care practices from across our global network.

WHEN: October 27th, 2022 // 8am PST
WHERE: The event will be live on Youtube (Link will be sent on October 27th)
WHAT: The live launch will feature a panel discussion focused on key takeaways from the new report and completed research.

Panelists include:

  • Jelena Dordevic: co-author of “What's the Point of Revolution if We Can't Dance?”
  • Laura Carvajal: Coordinator of the report and former member of the UAF-LAC team
  • Lucia Nader: Researcher and interviewer who helped compile the report
The new report is an investigation into the landscape of collective care from the viewpoints of women, trans, and gender diverse activists across the globe, and explores the idea of care as a key concept to sustain feminist movements. The report answers the following questions:
  • What is collective care?
  • What does care and protection look like for women, trans and nonbinary activists around the world?
  • How are activists practicing self-care and collective care?
We hope you’ll be able to join us!

Sincerely,
The UAF Team
