Senator Cruz & Delegate Neil Parrott Hold Rally

Hagerstown, MD (October 24, 2022) – Saturday, October 22, Senator Ted Cruz and Delegate N eil Parrott had a rally to help elect Delegate Parrott to US Congress. The rally took place on former Congressman Roscoe Bartlett's Farm located on Buckeystown Pike in Frederick County.

Senator Cruz indicated that, "Neil Parrott is going to fight for the men and women of Maryland...to stop the out-of-control spending, the inflation, the crime, to secure our Southern Border, and to defend our human rights."

Real Clear Politics has moved the Congressional District 6 race from Lean Democrat to Tossup which contributed to Senator Cruz adding Maryland to his barnstorm bus tour promoting Republicans in close US Senate and US House races across the country. Also speaking at the event were Sheriff Chuck Jenkins and former Congressman Roscoe Bartlett.

Congressman Bartlett lost his race in 2012 as a result of unfair gerrymandering of the congressional lines imposed on Western Maryland by the O'Malley Administration. Delegate Parrott has been working to reverse that wrong for 10 years and won in court this April, finally reuniting Frederick County into one district.

Now the race is competitive again. Delegate Neil Parrott indicated that, "I am very thankful for the support from Senator Cruz and everyone who came out to fight inflation and move our country in a better direction. The Biden, Pelosi, Trone agenda must be stopped, and we have an opportunity to do that right here in Western and Central Maryland."

The campaign counted over 500 cars entered the lot for the rally and estimate that 600 people attended the rally.
