It’s no secret that Michigan is a battleground state. However, a lot of people forget just how close our elections can be – in the 2016 presidential race, the margin was only 10,704 votes.

That’s less than 0.3% of the vote. In politics, we call that a “field margin” because it comes down to turnout.

Clearly, Michigan is going to be razor-close again this year. With so much at stake, we can’t afford to lose this race. Will you chip in $10 to help me organize supporters and turn out Democrats in every corner of MI-11?

In 2020, I won MI-11 by just 2.4 points. And today, the DeVos family wants to spend upwards of $30 million in attack ads to smear Democrats up and down the ballot.

I know you’re probably getting inundated with emails asking you to chip in to critical races. But here’s why this specific race is so important: if we lose MI-11, Democrats will almost certainly lose the House, too.

That’s why this campaign is under close watch – and if we fall short, we’re putting this crucial seat at risk. So, I have to ask:

Can I count on you to pitch in $10 or more before the end of the month? Voters are already filling out their ballots, so we need to reach supporters ASAP in order to win.
