* *Early Help Play and Youth Service Vacancies:
* Are you a dynamic team player with the skills to inspire, mentor and support Young People to have things to do, places to go, and someone to talk to? If so we have Full and Part time vacancies for Play and Youth Workers. Working in an area team but available for deployment in different areas of the City, you will ensure the delivery of effective youth and play provision in a variety of centre-based, outreach and detached settings, and work with colleagues across Childrens Integrated Services and other-agencies to ensure that children and young peoples personal, social and educational development is facilitated and supported. There will be an emphasis on working alongside a multi-disciplinary hub to identify, assess and deliver programmes to children and young people who are vulnerable to exploitation and crime. ** *To be a successful you will have the following:* ** Experience of working with children and young people with an age range of 5-19 years, particularly those who have challenging behaviour such as substance misuse, mental health, anti-social behaviour and crime The ability to keep young people and children safe and the experience of providing quality opportunities to meet and respond to the challenging needs of children and young people in our communities. Ability to support young people to learn, achieve, and help them to develop the skills they need for life. Ability to work flexibly across the city, during evenings and weekends to provide quality activities for children and young people at in a range of Play and Youth settings.
