Like her predecessor, Boris Johnson, Prime Minister Lis Truss has been the architect of her own undoing. However, the causes of the Truss resignation run deeper than political and economic miscalculations and are ultimately also structural. After all, she is the fourth prime minister to resign in the last six years. To stop the chaos, Britain needs to fundamentally reform its electoral system.
