These next few days are going to be intense for battleground campaigns like mine. We’re heading into the last end-of-month fundraising push of the campaign season and a lot of teams will be reaching out asking for your support.

But, I want to get ahead of the game and tell you why I’d be grateful if you made my campaign the one you choose to support this week.

This race between my far-right opponent and I couldn’t be closer. A recent poll showed that my campaign is now within striking distance of Nicole Malliotakis. My team and I have been giving this race all we’ve got and it’s thanks to your support that we’ve made it to this point.

Not only is this one of the biggest battleground races in the country, but it also could be the difference between Democrats keeping or losing our House majority. The GOP knows this so they’re doing everything they can to prop up my opponent. And who could blame them? Nicole Malliotakis is their only Republican representative in New York City.

But JOHN, I don’t take a single vote for granted in this race. I’ve had thousands of conversations with voters who are concerned about reproductive rights being under attack, not being able to afford their prescriptions, or worried about the safety of our streets. The common denominator among all of these things is that Nicole Malliotakis has refused to step up to the plate to take on these issues.

Your support has powered my campaign so far and I’d be lying if I didn’t tell you that there’s still a good amount of work left to be done. But you’ll be amazed at what your support today will help us accomplish in these final 16 days.
