This week, Andy Harris and I will participate in our first and only debate before Election Day. Don’t forget — this debate almost didn’t happen after he tried to back out last month. It turns out that Andy doesn’t want to face the voters and try to defend his terrible record.

But, he caved to the pressures of being called a coward, so now the debate is back on, and we need a surge of grassroots support before I take the stage. Can I count on you to contribute $ or any amount today? [[link removed]]

This debate is an opportunity for voters to see the stark differences between our message of unity and Andy’s extreme record in Congress.

I look forward to hearing him explain why he is a co-sponsor of a bill that would make abortion illegal nationwide with no exceptions for rape, incest, or the life of the woman. Or explain why he voted against helping victims of child sex trafficking, against supporting our veterans, and against funds to finance local infrastructure projects here in the First District (though he took credit for that funding anyway).

And, of course, what excuse does he have for plotting with Trump to overthrow our government ahead of the January 6th insurrection?

Andy has a lot of explaining to do, and I’m looking forward to sharing with the voters my positive vision for the First District. We’ve seen over and over again on the trail that when voters hear our message, they support us over Andy Harris.
