John – I know what running in a tight race feels like because I’ve done it before. In fact, my last race – which I won by just 1,017 votes – was one of the tightest Senate races in history.

Now, I am running for reelection against Don Bolduc, an extreme, right-wing, election denier, and I need your help because I can tell you, without a doubt, that this race to defeat him is going to be *really* close.

But you don’t have to take my word for it – just ask the Republicans doing everything in their power to flip this seat. We can tell what the GOP thinks about this race because of the amount of money they are investing in it. 

I use the word “investing” intentionally. The GOP is pouring tens of millions into the Granite State because they believe they will receive a huge return on their investment: retaking control of the U.S. Senate.

They see the path to winning this race, taking back this seat, and planting Mitch McConnell firmly in the Majority leader’s office. Now they are spending nearly $60 million to make it happen.

They are trying to buy this seat out from under us because they know what we know: the current political environment is one of the toughest that Democrats have seen in years.

But for 16 more days, we still have the power to fight back, John. We can prove Don Bolduc, Mitch McConnell, and their dark money allies wrong and keep this seat, but only if we pull together.

I know your contribution of $3 might not feel like enough to stand up to the $55 million the GOP is investing in this race, but when all of us – and I do mean *all* of us – chip in, that $3 adds up in powerful ways.
