John, It’s that time in the election cycle when each day brings new poll results for folks to celebrate — or worry about. But listen, if we want to win this election and protect all the progress we’ve made here in Colorado, obsessing over polls isn’t how we’ll get the job done.
Refreshing the latest polling average won’t help us win this race. Scrolling through Twitter won’t help us protect the right to choose. Arguing on Facebook with your cousin who lives in Florida and then blocking them before realizing you’re going to have to see them in a few weeks at Thanksgiving and now it’s going to be incredibly awkward won’t help us fund our public schools. The only way we win this race — and elect hardworking Colorado Democrats up and down the ballot — is if we get busy reaching out to every single voter, in every community, from every walk of life. And there’s no time to waste, because Coloradans have already begun voting. Will you take an hour or two and help us out, John? Thank you, Jared Polis
