Visiting And Honoring Tenth District First Responders

I always look forward to visiting these folks and thanking them for all they do. This week, I had the opportunity to do just that when I stopped by the Conover Fire Department in Catawba County to recognize the FEMA Assistance to Firefighters Grants they recently received that will be used to purchase lifesaving and rescue equipment as well as a new truck. The Conover FD is a leader in the fire service, and it is always wonderful to be with them.

I also had the opportunity to visit the Mooresville Police Department. Thank you to Chief Ron Campurciani for hosting me and thanks to Assistant Chief Frank Falzone for giving me a tour of the new station. This impressive facility is a tremendous asset to this growing community and a well deserved upgrade for our brave men and women in blue.

We Need Energy Independence

 Since day one of his administration, President Biden has been more focused on achieving far-left goals than helping to ensure American energy independence. As his policies have failed, instead of working towards commonsense solutions, he has depleted our Strategic Petroleum Reserve at a record rate. Just this week, he announced an additional 15 million barrels would be drained from the SPR in an attempt to bailout Democrats ahead of the midterms. President Biden has already sold off more than 200 million barrels, more than all the U.S. presidents in history combined.

A Commitment to A Secure Border

It has been less than two years since President Biden was inaugurated and during that time, the Biden Administration and House Democrats have created a crisis at our southern border. Thanks to their reckless open border policies there have been over 3.5 million illegal crossings, criminal cartels are making billions from human trafficking, and we’ve experienced record fentanyl overdoses across the country. Apple Festival's 50th: A Great Day in Lincolnton

An estimated 25,000 people gathered to spend time with friends and celebrate this yearly tradition. Thank you to the Lincoln County community for once again making this festival a success.
