I wouldn't be asking you this if it wasn't extraordinarily important, John.

People have started voting across the state of Nevada just as Nate Silver of FiveThirtyEight reported that our seat is Republicans' "most likely pickup opportunity." That's why I just set an ambitious fundraising goal: $250,000 before my emergency deadline.

Thankfully, a group of generous Democrats has agreed to TRIPLE-MATCH every donation so we can reach this critical goal. But as I write to you, our records indicate that we're only 23% of the way there.

Nate Silver's new analysis comes just after we learned a right-wing super PAC was absolutely blindsiding us with $11 million in attack ads – so we really have no choice but to raise the $250,000 we need ASAP. With Election Day just 16 days away and Nevadans already casting their ballots in the race that will decide Senate control, this is our last and only hope of fighting back.
