John —
In just 48 hours, we’re going to close the books on the most important fundraising deadline of the year in a major test for our growing campaign.
But here’s the truth: we’re a little bit behind on the online fundraising goals that will allow us to run the kind of campaign it will take to give Mitch McConnell and Thom Tillis a run for their money.
We only have until midnight on Tuesday to catch up, and the only way we can is if as many folks like you as possible give whatever they can afford to make a meaningful difference. So, I’m asking:
Can I count on you to add a donation of $10 or more to our campaign before our critical end-of-year fundraising deadline? I wouldn’t ask if it wasn’t important.
Since we launched our campaign for U.S. Senate, we’ve had incredible success — a stark contrast to Senator Tillis’ campaign, which GOP mega-donors, the Koch network, and special interest groups are pouring millions into to try to save him.
I don’t have those folks behind me cutting campaign checks in exchange for favors — because they know I refuse to work for them. That’s why I’m not taking a single donation from corporate PACs in this campaign.
I’m trying to do right by all the working people in North Carolina who deserve a voice in Washington. And I have something more powerful in my corner: folks like you, pitching in whatever you can, whenever you can. That’s real political power, and it’s what will get us over the finish line next November.
Add your donation of $10 or more before Tuesday’s final FEC deadline and help us reach our goal for the year. We can send a powerful message about the kind of people-centered campaign we’re running — but it all comes down to how you respond right now.
I wouldn’t be able to do this without you, John. Thanks for everything.
