Hi John —

Representing our community in Congress has truly been such an honor — and I am incredibly grateful for your support over the last few years that has made it all possible.

In 2018, this team did what many told us was impossible. We overcame mountains of right-wing spending and defeated a four-term Republican incumbent, helping me make history as the youngest Black woman ever elected to Congress.

We’ve come a long way since then. Over the last three and a half years, I’ve had ten pieces of legislation signed into law under two different administrations. We lowered the price of prescription drugs, lowered health care costs and premiums, secured an historic investment to fight climate change, and so much more.

We have a lot to be proud of, John, but I can’t stress this enough: None of it would have been possible without your support over the last few years.

Whether you volunteered for our campaign, called your friends to make sure they voted, pitched in to support our campaign, or even just opened one of these messages — please know that our progress was only possible because of you. But as you know, our work isn’t finished yet.

I’m running for reelection to build on our work to protect reproductive rights, reform our nation’s deeply unequal health care system, make life better for our working families, and so much more. But I can’t do any of it without you.
