We're really down to the wire, Friend — and virtually every analysis is saying the same thing: if the election were held today,
we would lose an environmental majority in the House.
We can't let that happen — and we need your help. Our mobilization efforts are operating full steam ahead: we're getting mailers in voters' mailboxes and running digital ads in
dozens of House races across the country. We're working to turn out voters in districts where
environmental champions are in serious toss-ups against their opponents:
- In Iowa's 3rd, Rep. Cindy Axne, who has scaled up Iowa's clean energy efforts, is polling less than half a point behind.
- In Kansas's 3rd, Rep. Sharice Davids, who has consistently voted for climate action and public lands protections, is tracking just one point ahead.
- In Pennsylvania's 7th, Rep. Susan Wild, a co-chair of the New Democrat Coalition's Climate Change Task Force, is less than half a point ahead.
- And, in Virginia's 2nd, Rep. Elaine Luria, a sponsor of several public lands and wildlife preservation bills, is now polling 50/50 against her opponent.
These are all races where environmental leaders in Congress have a real chance to defeat pro-polluter, MAGA candidates. We can't give up on a single winnable House race — without an environmental majority in the House of Representatives, our ability to make progress on issues like climate change, environmental justice, and voting rights will all but disappear.
We are working hard to mobilize enough voters to make a difference in these races, but the
only way we're going to keep our momentum going is with your help. And a group of donors is
triple matching every contribution right now to help elect as many environmental candidates as possible this November.
Right now, LCV Victory Fund is running a massive mobilization effort to engage and motivate climate voters in this critical election. Here's more on what we've been doing to turn out climate voters up and down the ballot:
Here's where our GOTV campaign stands right now:
- Strategically focusing resources in close races, where our efforts can make a real difference to the outcomes.
- Identifying voters and messages through research to reach millions of voters in battleground states.
- Engaging early and aggressively with TV and digital ads to define candidates for voters.
- Motivating and mobilizing voters through canvassing and providing voters with information about how to vote in their states, including early voting and vote by mail.
- Supporting the work of our 30+ state affiliates who are making an impact on governors, state legislative, and other local races across the country.
- Expanding partnerships with other progressive groups to help elect pro-environment and pro-democracy candidates.
TRIPLE YOUR IMPACT: We're down to the final few weeks,Friend. Please, help us turn out every last climate voter in this election!
Keeping a pro-environment majority in Congress is important for our communities, our planet, and future generations. That's why your support is an integral piece of winning this fight, not just in November, but for the long term.
Thank you for being part of our work to elect climate leaders who will build a better future for all.
