We Need to Stop Online Booking Scams

What’s New:

On Tuesday, I introduced legislation to protect consumers from online booking scams. Doing so will protect Montana jobs, our tourism industry, and the folks who visit our great state.

Why It Matters:

Montana's booming tourism industry is a large part of our economy and provides Big Sky Country with good, high-paying jobs. It is important that visitors and travelers to our great state are not scammed and have the assurances that the hotel room they booked will be there when they arrive.

What's Next:

As your voice in Washington D.C., I am committed to ensuring we protect Montana's vital industries and we provide a safe business environment for folks who come to enjoy all Montana has to offer. I’m glad to have bipartisan support and will continue to work to pass this legislation.
