DON'T WAKE UP NOVEMBER 9, 2022 WITH THAT SAME NAUSEATING PIT IN YOUR STOMACH, John.

It is certainly an ominous coincidence that Election Day this year falls on November 8. Just like it did in 2016. Just like it did that year we all did our part voting, made some impassioned pleas, but ultimately woke up November 9 thinking: I COULD HAVE DONE MORE.

This year, for the first time, the national GOP has come at Jahana with everything they have. They are millions into this race already, and just this week they have reserved another seven hundred thousand dollars in ad buys. So buckle up!

Her challenger – someone who has been masquerading around the district pretending to be a moderate for 16 months – has dropped his mask. He's appeared on Fox News almost half a dozen times in the last week alone, including on Tucker Carlson. You know, where all moderates like to spend their time...

He has been gleefully ushering a parade of election deniers into Connecticut on his behalf: Elise Stefanik, Ronna McDaniel, Lloyd Smucker... the list goes on.

And, the cherry on top: During the debates last week, he finally revealed himself as anti-choice, stating that he would not vote to codify Roe at the federal level, saying it should be left to the states. Last we checked, "states" does not equal "woman," leaving him decidedly anti-woman's choice. A state deciding for a woman is not the same as a woman deciding for herself.

There is so much more... but for now, you need to know: We MUST knock every door and call every voter possible in-district in the next 16 days. If you have an hour, half hour, 15 minutes anywhere in your next sixteen days, please sign up to make a couple calls or knock a couple doors. This is not a drill. If we do not step up now and hold this seat, everything we all worked so hard for in 2018 will be erased. Just like that.

So please, just one hour of your time talking to voters in CT-05 could determine control of the House in November. Just like every vote matters, so does each phone call or door knock. [[link removed]]
