In a minute, I’m going to ask if you can chip in to fuel our Get Out the Vote efforts before our final end-of-month fundraising deadline approaching on October 31. But before I do, let me explain why your contribution matters in this critical moment for our race to flip NM-02.

Days ago, I had the opportunity to debate my far-right opponent Yvette Herrell. While she tried to soften her positions and come across more moderate, her record speaks for itself.

She lied about her stance on abortion, claiming to support exceptions for rape, incest, and the life of the mother, when in actuality she’s co-sponsored two national abortion ban bills without exceptions, and will vote to ban abortion nationwide if Republicans take the House.

Herrell also downplayed her role in pushing the Big Lie and her efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election results, as well as her “proud endorsement” from disgraced New Mexico county commissioner Couy Griffin, who was banned from office for participating in the January 6 insurrection.

We know the truth: Herrell is a MAGA extremist who will continue to prioritize a dangerous agenda and the best interests of wealthy corporations instead of the people she was elected to serve, while I will fight for the rights and wellbeing of every New Mexican.

The choice is clear in this toss-up race, and voting is already underway. When voters learn more about my and Herrell’s stances, they support my campaign. That’s why we need to hit our October fundraising goal and ensure we have the resources to reach as many undecided voters as possible before it’s too late.
