That's because our plan to win hinges on building the largest organizing program in Texas history. We've done our research, and the data shows if our volunteer movement can connect with millions of voters before Election Day, we will win.
But here's the catch, every organizing email we send replaces a fundraising email we could be sending. It's a trade-off that leads to less revenue. It's why most campaigns wouldn't even consider sending as many organizing emails as we do — but we know it’s a risk worth taking.
We can do this because we trust that this people-powered team will step up with donations — and John, this is one of those moments. If we're going to fund our Get Out The Vote efforts before Election Day, we need the resources to close the gap in our budget shortfall.
