This FEC fundraising deadline has taken on a whole new meaning after Donald Trump began directly attacking TJ Cox for his impeachment vote. It's the clearest sign yet that CA-21 will be ground zero in the Republicans' efforts to chip away at our House majority.

In 2018, TJ's race against David Valadao was the closest House contest in California. Despite being written off by the pundits and going up against a surge of super PAC spending, we held Valadao off thanks to our grassroots momentum.

But Valadao is back, and he's raising more money than he ever did in 2018. If we don't pick up the pace now, we run the risk of falling behind early. That could change everything in a race this close.
