I’m reaching out to you because I believe our country, and our democracy, is at a crossroads. And we have the power to make a real impact on what our next steps look like when we work together to support candidates like Maggie Hassan in her critical battleground race.

Across the country, and in Maggie’s race in New Hampshire, we are battling lies about election fraud. These lies cut at the very foundation of our democracy, and the people peddling them are themselves, running for office – asking for the full faith of the voters without demonstrating that they have any respect for the will of the people.

Maggie’s opponent, Don Bolduc, is one of them. And one of the worst.

He has proven time and time again that he is too extreme to be trusted with the power that comes with a U.S. Senate seat. Bolduc supported Trump’s baseless lies about the 2020 election and went so far as to say he would "defy the presidential election results, should he be called upon to do so in 2024."

Beating election deniers at the ballot box, in just 17 days, is the single most important thing we can do for democracy right now. And that starts with people like you chipping in $3, or whatever you can, to help elect champions for democracy, like Maggie Hassan.

Maggie serves New Hampshire with integrity and has continued to deliver on the issues that matter most; Granite Staters truly could not ask for a better representative in the Senate.

But right now, Maggie is in a tough fight, and she needs our help. She won this seat by just 1,017 votes, and now polls show her statistically tied with her opponent. So it is not hyperbole to say that what we chose to do (or fail to do) today could be the difference between defeating Don Bolduc or having him as the next Senator from New Hampshire.

And let me be clear – there is virtually no math that keeps Democrats in the Senate majority if Maggie loses this seat.

Time is running out to make an impact on the outcome of the critical races that will decide who controls the House and the Senate, but if we act decisively and immediately, we can still defeat candidates like Don Bolduc.
