THE SITUATION: We are just a few days away from the final FEC fundraising deadline of the year and our campaign is pacing behind the number of donations we need in order to reach our fundraising goals. Not great.

OUR JOB: With time running out, our only chance to close the gap on Susan Collins and the big money flooding in to support her from Washington D.C. Republicans is by generating as many individual donations as we possibly can before this deadline comes to a close.

THE NUMBERS: We've run some numbers and figured that if we can get 823 people to add their first online contribution before this deadline, we'd have a chance to hit our goals.
