I’ve been keeping tabs on Trump’s hand-picked Postmaster General Louis DeJoy since he launched his unprecedented assault on one of America’s most important public goods — the United States Postal Service.

Over the past several years, he’s enacted harmful policies and leveraged the Postal Service for his own personal benefit with little remorse.

And now, a federal judge has ruled that DeJoy’s policy changes to the U.S. Postal Service harmed mail delivery and impeded voting by mail ahead of the 2020 election.

DeJoy participated in a poorly disguised attempt to help Trump win the election. He refused to notify regulators of any policy changes, and that affected states, counties, and cities’ ability to provide safe alternatives to in-person voting during the pandemic.

If DeJoy cared about the Postal Service over his own personal interests, he wouldn’t have decommissioned mail sorting machines. He wouldn’t have made a 10-year plan to shrink the Postal Service — representing the largest consumer rollback of Post Office services in a generation.

But he has, because he does not care.

john, will you sign my petition calling for DeJoy’s removal from office? We must defend the United States Postal Service that so many Americans depend on for basic necessities.

SIGN THE PETITION

The Postal Service provides a fundamental service to millions of Americans every single day.

We can’t let DeJoy degrade and dismantle this essential public good any longer — you can do your part by signing my petition.

Thanks for raising your voice on this critical issue.
