Unlike Mike Crapo, I’m not hanging out at fancy California resorts.

John – My team and I have been traveling across this state relentlessly, holding town halls and meet and greets to talk with real, ordinary Idahoans and hear their concerns about this election.

I treasure these conversations, because each one is an opportunity to earn the trust and respect of the people I hope to represent in the U.S. Senate next year.

But where has my opponent been?

Recently Mike Crapo was spotted here, at a luxury golf resort in California, hobnobbing all weekend with high-dollar donors:

Mike was hanging out at The Lodge at Pebble Beach, an exclusive California golf resort where the rooms go for $1,000 to $8,000 per night.

I’m sure it’s a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of Washington if you want to have quiet, out-of-the-way conversations all weekend with your billionaire donors. But I don’t think you’re going to meet any working families struggling to make their rent in Boise there.

I HAVE met those families, in fact I work with folks trying to make ends meet every single day, and I know how Republican policies supported by my opponent have hurt them.

That’s why it’s time for a change. I need your help to flip this U.S. Senate seat and fight for ordinary working class Idahoans. Can you pitch in $25, $50, or $100 to our grassroots campaign now?

Early voting starts on MONDAY, John, so there is no time to waste. Our team is in full GOTV mode and we need you by our side today.

We’re still about $3,000 behind on our month-to-date fundraising target, and the money we raise this weekend will determine how much voter outreach we’re able to do before voting begins.

Can you pitch in a few bucks now to help us contact the voters we need to flip this U.S. Senate seat? Any amount will make a difference.

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:

In their recent endorsement, the Idaho Statesman noted that I have “a deep connection to Idaho and the lives of its everyday citizens,” something “Crapo long ago left behind.”

We see the truth of that in where we choose to spend our time, and who we choose to spend it with.

Keeping this hectic campaign schedule and working full time as a single dad is not easy, but there’s nowhere else I’d rather be than visiting the good people of our beautiful state.

I’m proud to be connected with – and accountable to – the folks I am here to serve in the United States Senate.

- David

David Roth is a single, gay dad running to flip a U.S. Senate seat in Idaho. His opponent is an extremist “pro-life” Republican who’s been in politics for 37 years. David stepped up to serve the state that has been his home most of his life, where he is now raising his two young sons, because every state is worth fighting for. There has never been an openly gay man elected to the U.S. Senate. Help us make history this year. Pitch in now to flip this seat and send David to D.C.
