Hi John,
The 12-year-old daughter of one of our members just received a text from Greg Abbott’s campaign asking for her support. We couldn’t help but laugh at his desperation.
She’s nowhere near old enough to vote. Her allowance probably won’t fix Greg’s awful poll numbers. And even at 12, she knows there is something wrong with Greg’s policies; she has to attend school after all.
Where did you buy that texting list, Greg?
That’s what I wanted to ask. Until I realized the real question:
Why did you buy that texting list, Greg?
The answer to that question is clear to all of us: You’re struggling in the polls, just as you struggled as governor for years, so you are trying to get as much support from unlikely sources as you can.
Including 12-year-olds who can’t vote. And wouldn’t vote for you anyway.
When she meets the new resident of your temporary house in Austin, she’ll start to learn how much better we can do … than you.

Mothers Against Greg Abbott was formed in response to the increasingly divisive, dangerous, and downright stupid policies coming from Governor Abbott and Republicans in Austin. We’re not DC planned or consultant driven, just a grassroots movement of concerned Texans from all political backgrounds and walks of life.
Will you chip in to help support our movement?
