John,

Ryan Zinke, Trump’s former Interior Secretary, wants to return to Washington, D.C. to represent a new Montana district in Congress — but the ethically challenged Zinke has an opponent that could be his worst nightmare: a clean energy lawyer.

Monica Tranel has already been ushering in a sustainable future for Montanans through her work, representing companies that are building clean energy projects in the Treasure State.

We couldn’t think of a better opponent to one of the most corrupt Interior Secretaries in history. Zinke was called “the face of Trump’s environmental rollbacks” for leading the charge for special interests to loosen environmental standards.

Now, his abhorrent record is being matched up against a climate champion – which has resulted in a rating change by The Cook Political Report in Tranel’s favor.

We can’t let Ryan Zinke return to Congress, and having a pro-environment opponent just might be his kryptonite. We need to raise money to elect environmental champions and oppose Zinke and candidates like him. Will you rush a donation today? [[link removed]]

On top of his anti-environmental policies, Secretary Zinke was also mired in charges of corruption and unethical behavior. Under his tenure, staff was reassigned for speaking out about the dangers of climate change, and department resources were used to fund extravagant personal trips and hold secret meetings about who knows what.

We can’t afford to have Zinke and candidates like him in Congress. That’s why SEEC PAC works to raise money to elect pro-environment candidates and defeat those who favor profits and special interests over their job of protecting the public interest and future generations.

Will you pitch in a donation to help us defeat candidates like Ryan Zinke and elect a new class of pro-environmental candidates who will help us save our planet? [[link removed]]

Now we are counting on you to help our SEEC members pass climate, clean energy and environmental justice policies in the 117th Congress while we undo the damage of the Trump Administration.
