On Wednesday, we will honor PIH-Co-founder Dr. Paul Farmer’s memory on his birthday with a day of action. His passing in February of this year shocked world leaders, activists, caregivers, and patients—people from all walks of life—so many of whom wrote in asking what they could do to pay tribute to his lifetime of service and solidarity. 

So, together, we can honor Paul by doing two things at once, as he so famously insisted. 

• We will take tangible action to provide care to people who need it right now, and 
• We will advocate for systemic reform that will radically expand the human right to health care.
