Like so many of you, I'm eagerly watching the polling coming out of
crucial races across the country ahead of November 8th. From environmental
protections and the economy to reproductive freedom — so much is on the
line right now.

Cori’s life experiences inform the type of leader she is: compassionate
and laser-focused on helping our most vulnerable communities, lifting up

legislation she’s sponsored:

* The Green New Deal for Cities: would provide funding to states, local
governments, and Native American nations to carry out Green New Deal
projects, including efforts to clean up pollution, climate adaptation
measures, and more.

* The Keeping Renters Safe Act: would authorize the government to place
a moratorium on residential evictions to prevent the spread of
communicable diseases and keep vulnerable renters housed.

* The People’s Response Act: will treat public safety as a matter of
public health by creating a health-centered public safety agency
within the Department of Human Health and Services to prevent violence
and harm.

* The Helping Families Heal Act: is a first-of-its-kind legislation to
fund mental health resources to support those impacted by police
violence.
