Francis’s opponent, Brandon Williams is a far-right extremist who wants to let states ban abortion – in opposition to the over 60% of Americans who stand by fundamental personal rights and freedoms.

John, not only is Francis running in the tightest race in the country, 538 now also says “Republicans are favored to win the House.”
We cannot let this happen: in September Lindsey Graham introduced a national abortion ban in the Senate, and House Republicans later introduced a bill that would give pharmacists the power to deny medications they think are being used to end a pregnancy.
Republicans winning the House will take our country backwards, and it’s why close races like this one can mean the difference between progress and fear.
