First things first: Peter’s opponent, a Trump-aligned Republican, doesn’t represent Vermont values. Peter was in the Capitol on January 6, and his opponent said he wished he was at the insurrection. Peter voted to protect the right to choose, while his opponent wants to restrict reproductive freedom.

And while Peter has been fighting to protect our planet and pass climate action, his opponent supports increased oil drilling on public lands and opposes a Green New Deal. It seems he is only interested in pushing the agenda of Mitch McConnell and national Republicans, rather than the people of Vermont.
