During the last gubernatorial debate Paul LePage made national headlines for his bungled abortion answer and for repeating debunked conspiracy theories and lies.. If you missed it last time, Monday night is the second televised debate and you’re sure to see more of the same old Paul LePage.

No matter how many poetic platitudes about growth and change we hear from LePage, Mainers know the truth: he’s the same irrational, dangerous politician he’s always been.

We don’t know what falsehoods Paul LePage will spin on Monday. That’s why we need 150 people to donate before Governor Mills takes the stage tomorrow night so we can be ready to fight back against his next round of attack on Maine Democrats. Will you donate any amount now?

Paul LePage will continue to embarrass Maine and we only have one chance to stop him. His rants and raves on stage and off are more than just temper tantrums — they’re a promise to Mainers for four more years of that behavior.

Gov. Mills has stood up for Mainers and will stand up for us again Monday night. She’s been a leader in the fight for reproductive rights, to expand health care, and to put Maine’s students first. We can’t count on Paul LePage.
