As a voter who was horrified by the events tha occurred on January 6th, 2021, I want to thank you all for your dedication to investigating the terrible crimes committed before, during, and after that fateful day by Donald Trump and his far-right insurrectionist allies.
Since the beginning, you all have been strong voices in the fight to hold Donald Trump accountable for his attacks on our democracy. You have not minced words and called the January 6th Insurrection what it truly was – an invasion of our Capitol by a dangerous mob, led by former President Donald Trump.
Trump’s Republicans continue to spread misinformation about the Insurrection – they claim it was peaceful, lawful, and just another day in Washington, DC. But your hearings fight back against these destructive lies and show the truth to all Americans.
Most importantly, you all choose to do the right thing and protect our democracy, no matter what it means for your political careers.
Every single day, you show us what it means to be a true patriot and American. We will always be grateful for your service to our country.
