State Party: Rhode Island federally permissible contributions will be deposited in the State Party's Federal Account and will be used in conjunction with Federal elections. RI state law prohibits the acceptance of any corporate or business checks for campaign contributions. Only personal and PAC Checks are acceptable. Individuals are permitted to contribute $11,000 per calendar year to the RI Democratic Party's state account and $10,000 per calendar year to the RI Democratic Party's federal accounts. RI PACs are permitted to contribute up to $11,000, while federal PACs are limited to $5,000. State law requires place and address of employment. Donations are not tax deductible. Friends of Dan McKee: In accordance with RI Board of Elections regulations, individuals may contribute up to $1,000 annually to a candidate. Spouses may contribute jointly provided that both names are pre-printed on the check. Contributions must come from an individual and cannot be reimbursed by any person or company. All contributions over $100 require employer and occupation information. Corporate and LLC contributions are prohibited. Cash contributions are limited to $25 per person per year. Donations are not deductible for tax purposes.
