I’m not going to lie, sometimes it’s hard to realize how far I’ve come.
|
It seems like just yesterday, I was helping out at my family farm in Pasco, Washington.
I remember going to college. It was a huge step to growing up and leaving my family for Whitworth College in Spokane. I remember being scared – what if I didn’t make any friends? What if I got homesick? What if I’m not cut out for this?
Well, I made it! I made best friends, thrived on the soccer team, and said “yes” to the love of my life, Scotty.

All of the little things I had to say “yes” to seemed terrifying. I didn’t know what the future held, and I had no idea what my next step would be. Yet, here I am – a wife, a mother, and a candidate for U.S. Senate.

Trust me; nothing has been as scary and full of the unknown as this. Caring for my husband and children has been my #1 priority, but over 18 months ago, I set my sights on caring for Washington. Caring for my country.
I am running for U.S. Senate to ease the fear of the future, help families achieve their American Dreams, and build a better for our children and the generations to come.
Now, we’re in the final days until the election. Sometimes I can’t believe that I’m here, but all the times I said “yes” led me to this moment.
It’s now time for you to say “yes.” It’s not just to elect me to Senate. It’s a “yes” to accountability, responsibility, real service, real results, and a better country.
