Fellow Conservative,
As election day creeps ever closer, the need to spread the conservative message and rally grassroots activists becomes ever more urgent. But Heritage Action is not shying away from the challenge.
Last week we hosted a grassroots event in Scottsdale, Arizona which hosted many special guests and helped to energize the conservative electorate.
But we aren’t stopping there. We have been visiting other states including VA and activating a full court press in the media.
How are the Midterms looking?
This election cycle is all about the issues. What voters care about the most is what will determine who wins in November and it’s clear that what voters care about is inflation/economy, crime, and the border.
Heritage Action Executive Director, Jessica Anderson joined Larry O’Connor on his show to discuss the election landscape for the upcoming midterm elections. Click HERE <[link removed]> to watch the interview.
There are a few key states that are critical to changing the balance of power in Washington D.C. including Nevada, New Hampshire, Arizona, and a handful of others.
Jessica also joined Jan Jeffcoat of the National Desk to continue to spread the word about the importance of these elections and making a plan to vote!

To make sure that the electorate is informed and understands the challenges facing the country, we need people like you to get involved. Have a conversation with the people around you, get involved in your local community, and when you go to the polls be sure to bring others with you.
YOUR efforts on the ground in your states and communities is what is making the difference in this election.
Grassroots in VA
An important part of representative government is that elected officials hear from their people. On Wednesday, Heritage Action hosted an event where Heritage Action Sentinels were able to engage with Representative Rob Wittman to voice their concerns.
Events like these are what Heritage Action is all about. If you’d like to get more involved consider becoming a Heritage Action Sentinel <[link removed]>. You’ll get access to exclusive events and content including weekly strategy calls.
You’ll also have access to Heritage Action Regional Coordinators who will keep you informed about the happenings in your state government as well as the national government.

Our Military in Decline
Since 2013, The Heritage Foundation has published the Index of U.S. Military Strength — an annual report assessing the readiness and ability of the United States’ military. For the first time in nine years, the Index has given the military’s strength a rating of “Weak” <[link removed]>. Why? Simply put, Biden’s projection of weakness on the world stage has emboldened our enemies to take advantage of our combat readiness.
Biden has been unwilling to maintain our military’s fighting ability, preferring instead to turn it into a woke laboratory and fund other endeavors such as “green new deal” initiatives.
In this week’s podcast, Carson Steelman reviews the Index and breaks down the details of the “weak” rating.

The Index is a thorough report that evaluates every part of the military, and its ability to counter current threats posed by adversaries.
The podcast lays out specific solutions that would revive the strength of our military, so be sure to listen to all of them. <[link removed]>
Perhaps the most important solution is to evict the incompetant and misguided leadership currently in power and replace it with bold conservative leadership that will not sacrifice our nation's security for social agendas.
The way that change will occur in this country is from the bottom up. As a nation, we have always relied on the vigilance of activists like YOU to set the proper course.
Thank you for being a part of the change our nation needs.
